Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris)

This mint family member is found throughout the U.S. at low and mid elevations in moist woods or meadows. As its name suggests, it has been used as a natural remedy for, among other things, sore throats. We’re not sure what’s causing the wrinkled leaves in the specimen below, but normally they would be smoother.
